Nahar International School is an eight-storey structure with two basements and a ground floor. Every classroom is designed to be airy, spacious and inviting, bathed in soft, warm colours to create a comfortable, environment conducive for learning.
Each class is also equipped with SmartBoards and electronic methods of knowledge dissemination. The school has well thought-out infrastructure such as modern workshops, German-design science labs, iMac computer studios, a vast digitized library, spacious conference rooms and a large turf-based playground.
The campus and architecture was designed by the Nahar Group after extensive research keeping in mind that the structure of a school and the learning spaces within it should be such that students are encouraged to think beyond their imagination and explore subjects through the creative avenues that the campus provides.
Nahar International School (NIS) is a young school which uses its fresh perspective in dynamic and innovative ways. It aims at creating globally adept world citizens and leaders for the future. Students are encouraged to be participators in academics, sports, and performing arts through programs that are rigorous but not rigid.
NIS inculcates a holistic and learning-centric way of life. It aims to endow students with the right attitude, attributes, skills and social traits to care for themselves, their immediate society and the community at large.
The teachers are an intricate part of the school culture. They help to foster knowledge, develop skills and impart values to the young students, not just as teachers but as friends and facilitators. They are keen learners themselves who eagerly form learning partnerships with students, and also rediscover their abilities through newer challenges.
The school culture is built on the NIS philosophy which highlights nine attributes - Reverence, Responsibility, Empathy, Courage, Fairness, Perseverance, Resilience, Collaboration, and Initiative-taking.
These values, being closely aligned to the IB learner profile, come together beautifully with Indian values & ethics to instill in the entire NIS team an optimistic and constructive approach to making the world a better place and being responsible global citizens.
