Productivity is at the heart of PSB Academy. Once known as Singapore’s Productivity and Standards Board, PSB Academy is known today as “The Future Academy”, with an approach to education that focuses on what really matters: performance in the real-world.
In 2017, the Academy was conferred “Education Institution of the Year” by APAC Insider and earned 2 consecutive SBR National Business Awards in 2017/18 in the Education category for outstanding work in the region. Catering to over 12,000 students every year, PSB Academy hosts students from over 50 nationalities in its of slate of certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes.
PSB Academy has 2 campuses in Singapore: Technologically advanced City Campus at Marina Square dedicated to future-oriented brand of education preparing students for a disrupted age and Lab-based STEM campus at Jackson Square dedicated to studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics hosting upgraded laboratories and facilities for learning, experimentation and discovery. Partnering with leading universities from Australia and the UK (all university partners are world’s Top 5%) such as The University of Newcastle, Australia (QS World’s Top 1%, 2019), Coventry University (Top 12 UK University, Guardian 2018) and University of Wollongong (QS World’s Top 1%, 2019), PSB Academy offers a unique transnational education pathway, where the student has the flexibility to start in Singapore and transfer to the home campus of the partner universities in Australia/ UK to complete the degree.
PSB Academy voluntarily commissions reputable external research firms to conduct graduate employment surveys as one of several key measures of graduate outcomes. In 2015, idstats research consultancy found that around nine in 10 local/international students found perm/temp employment within six months of graduation; six in 10 benefitted from pay raises and/or career progression; and that graduates took 2.1 months on average to find employment.
